AS A COUNSEL, YOU WILL:
Support business units with drafting, evaluating, negotiating, and executing a wide variety of different contracts covering a range of transactions, including Non-Disclosure Agreements, Supplier Contracts, Services Contracts, Real Estate, Purchase Agreements, and SaaS Agreements across different jurisdictions, on a global level.
Help create standard workflows and templates to enable consistency across a global company and improve speed of reviewing and negotiating supply chain deals.
Lead review of real estate transactions and leases alongside the operations project leads.
Communicate and present information about contracts and related matters to stakeholders.
Participate in the approval process to assist leadership in making informed decisions and secure appropriate approvals and signatures.
Research information on existing agreements, assisting with analysis and compiling data for reports.
Ensure internal contract documents are maintained in accordance with contract lifecycle management system processes and policy.
Identify opportunities to improve the contracting process and devise plans to implement those changes.
Help ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Assist in resolving disputes and managing claims with vendors, suppliers, and landlords.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
- Juris Doctor (JD) required
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Exemplary attention-to-detail
- Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
- Experience negotiating NDAs and other agreements, including procurement contracts, and real estate agreement
- Proficient in spoken and written English
- Legal work authorization in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided now or in the future
