Who You Are: An experienced, hospitality minded candidate to work in a support role as an Administrative Assistant providing support for our General & Administrative Departments, including our Associate Executive Director and Human Resources.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the Associate Executive Director's liaison in regards to residents and associates.
- Support Associate Executive Director and other Leadership members by providing administrative support.
- Prepare internal and external correspondence for Associate Executive Director.
- Assist and manage any variety of recurring or ad hoc special projects as directed by the Associate Executive Director.
- Responsible for monthly tasks for our Human Resources department, including, scanning of associate files and documentation.
- Responsible for sending out birthday cards to associates on a regular basis, as well as logging and distributing Star Cards.
- Performs general clerical duties, and administrative tasks. Must be proficient with MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint programs.
- Prepare and modify documents including correspondence, reports, drafts, memos and emails
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, and vendor appointments
- Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents, other associates, and the public.
This position will be full-time position. Regular hours will be 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday, with some flexibility.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years office experience.
- Must possess strong organizational skills; experience using Microsoft Outlook; Microsoft Word; Excel Spreadsheets; PowerPoint and data entry; working knowledge of computer hardware and software.
- Excellent good communication skills.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills to interact with the public, residents and associates in a professional manner.
- Ability to work on multiple assignments simultaneously.
