Electrical Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Schematic capture, PCB and PCA design, and associated manufacturing documentation using Altium Designer.
• Troubleshooting hardware, firmware, and software.
• Providing product support and maintenance.
• Participating in R&D support and design.
• Conducting product testing of hardware, firmware, and software.
• Supporting new product releases.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
• 2-4 years of real-world experience in instrumentation design or similar fields.
• Proficiency in schematic capture and PCB/PCA design using Altium Designer.
• Familiarity with microcontrollers, analog circuitry, digital circuitry, and design.
• Ability to design PCA test fixtures and perform soldering, PCA repair, and breadboarding.
• Strong troubleshooting skills to component level.
• Familiarity with EMC CE type design and compliance requirements and certification testing.
• Proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office Suite.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with various digital communications hardware and languages (e.g., RS232, RS485, USB, MODBUS, Profibus, Foundation Fieldbus, BACnet, HART, Ethernet).
• Experience with PADS for PCB design.
• Mechanically inclined and able to read blueprints.
• Extensive ERP experience (Epicor desired).

Exempt salary $95,000 - 115,000 depending on experience
