Physical Security System Administrator

This position is the first level of support for the IU Health System Physical Security Team’s needs. It is this position’s responsibility to triage all electronic access control, video management, and badging system requests that are entered and ensure the issues are addressed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will drive a culture of quality and support proactive identification of access control and camera vulnerabilities for remediation. The person will be responsible for reporting, analytics, and troubleshooting as needed. You will advise and recommend security systems improvements and design. You will help implement new processes and advise leadership on the status of physical security operations.
- High School Diploma/GED is required. Associate's Degree is preferred.
- Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience working with video management systems (IP cameras and monitoring).
- Experience working with access control systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with cross-functional teams and external vendor partners.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related physical security software to prepare reports, permits, and training records.
