Sentara is hiring a RN in our Medical Specialties Unit at Norfolk General, in Norfolk, Virginia.

Up to a $15,000 Sign On Bonus for qualified candidates!

SHIFT:

  • Full time, 36 hours per week

  • Night Shift; 7am - 7pm

REQUIREMENTS:

  • New Grads welcome! 2+ years of experience preferred.

  • Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing REQUIRED

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) REQUIRED

  • RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma RREQUIRED

Join the nursing team that is enjoying a beautiful, 24 bed Medicine unit with computers in every room and charting stations in hallways with windows to visualize patients! Blood pressure machines that talk with EPIC as Real Time Documentation.

Patient population is cardiac, cardiac prep, renal failure, vascular, sepsis, pneumonia, sickle cell, OR-Prep, and diverse wound care. 

 Facility Highlights: Serving as a destination medical center in the mid-Atlantic region, Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is a Level 1 trauma center in Norfolk, Virginia, home to the Nightingale Regional Air Ambulance, region’s first Magnet® hospital and nationally ranked heart program at Sentara Heart Hospital.
