Licensed Vocational Nurse - LVN

POSITION SUMMARY

Perform professional nursing duties including assessments, treatment and follow through resolution of all health issues.

 

WORK LOCATION TYPE

Spends approximately 75% or more of time inside, providing care for individuals with developmental disabilities and complex behavioral/medical needs in a residential EBSH setting.

 

Compensation: $35.00-$38.00, based on experience

 

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implements program policy and procedure according to program regulations and guidelines
  Provides overall medical support to individuals who receive services to include scheduling of medical appointments and follow up as needed.
• Works closely with Program Director and Administrator to ensure health and safety of individuals receiving services
• Provides on-site medical support to individuals
• Represent Merakey at all external meetings, conferences, etc. as assigned
• Be knowledgeable and adhere to program regulations, assisting in preparation for annual licensure as applicable
• Maintain frequent contact with family members, as deemed appropriate
• Maintain frequent contact with external stakeholders as needed
• On-call responsibilities
• May perform other related duties when assigned or required

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

LPN CA license; valid driver’s license; 1year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or mental health issues; experience working in a residential environment preferred

• Associate Degree
• License Certification
• Certification

Experience: Minimum Required

• 1 – 3 years
