The Role


Job Title: Product Operations Project Manager

Length: 6 months

Estimated Start: December 2024

On-site: Menlo Park, New York, D.C. or Seattle


Brainrider is looking for a Product Operations Project Manager to join our client-embedded team. As a Product Operations Project Manager, you will work on projects that will help drive growth, engagement, and quality of client products.  You have a strong background in program/project management, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain relationships with global stakeholders. You will aide in planning, executing, and monitoring projects, developing plans, tracking progress, and updating stakeholders. You will promote cross-functional engagement and communicate program progress to key stakeholders.


You has a passion for diving deep to understand where and how these are manifesting on our clients platforms. You have a demonstrated ability to leverage large data sets and advanced tooling. You bring strong analytical & investigative skills and are comfortable with ambiguity and experimentation.


What you'll do

  • Support project scope, develop and execute project plans for supported programs
  • Drive effective, concise and persuasive program communications/collaboration, including root cause analysis, internal/external escalations coordination and communications to leadership, and business recommendations for broader stakeholder groups
  • Identify gaps in strategy, systems, and processes to support growth at scale
  • General program management to define project scope, develop and execute plans, drive risk and compliance activities
  • Showcase grace under pressure and ensure effective and timely collaboration with multiple internal stakeholders
  • Adapt to changing requirements and prioritize escalation requests effectively
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills, experience leveraging large data sets and advanced tooling

What you'll bring

  • 10+ years of experience in operations for a tech company, consulting, operations or similar roles
  • Strategic thinking with a proven track record of enhancing customer experience through innovation and continuous improvement
  • 7+ years project or program management experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across functional boundaries and globally
  • Ability to make judgments under tight deadlines and competing priorities
  • Proficiency/ Basic knowledge in analytical tools (e.g., Excel, SQL) for driving analytics, reporting and operational decision-making
  • Experience driving collaboration of cross-functional teams, coordinating effectively, and inspiring others
  • Experience communicating effectively via various formats, time zones and audiences, including within operations teams and across with key stakeholders and senior leadership
