Job Details:

Warehouse inventory Operator

This position is responsible for entering inventory, responsible for inventory accuracy, taking count cycles and inventory when assigned. This position needs to be able to understand the product code and date system as well as be able to accurately fill out all documentation and transactions in SAP accordingly to proper procedures.

Starting Pay up to $20.20* per hour

With a $1.00 increase at 6 months and another $1.00 increase at one (1) year. The hourly rate at one (1) year is up to $24.30* per hour with yearly increases.

*Varies depending on position and grade level 

Shift Differential of $1.00 for 2nd and 3rd shifts

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manually stack boxes of up to 50#.
  • Must be able to operate lift safely and efficiently with high level stacking and loading of racks.
  • Enter inventory on computer, put away and retrieve product, and responsible for inventory control and accuracy.
  • Knowledgeable and proficient in all phases of the inventory system, capable of making sound judgment related to inventory control.
  • Understand the product code and date system, take Cycle Counts and Inventory as assigned.
  • Work with Quality Assurance and Manufacturing to insure the shipment of a quality product (Leaker checks & QC Hold & Release).
  • Follow all proper procedures and complete paperwork for loading, unloading, and moving product within the   facility and filling deployment orders to include accurate bar coding (LPN’s).
  • Operate, troubleshoot problems and control all functions of auto stacking equipment.
  • Complete all necessary documentation and SAP functions when required.
  • Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

  • Must use both hands for rapid mental muscular coordination, simultaneously.
  • Must be able to reach high and low levels, frequently.
  • Must be able to constantly stand/stoop/walk/bend, up to 10 hrs.
  • Ability to flex/grip with wrist/hands frequently (10 flexion/minute).
  • Must be able to lift and carry from arm and shoulder up to 20 pounds, frequently (at times 5reps or more /min.)
  • Must be able to frequently life/lower/carry up to 20 pounds with back and legs. (at times 5reps or more /min.)
  • Occasional climbing of stairs several times per hour required.
  • Ability to work in wet and cold temperatures at 35 degrees.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must have high school diploma or GED equivalency, required.
  • Class III power lift operator license, required.
  • Basic computer skills and SAP, required.
  • Able to complete all paperwork and SAP functions as required for position.
  • 3 Months work history with the same employer.
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred
  • RF Scanner experience preferred.

Loader/unloader

This position includes but not limited to loading and unloading trucks.

Responsibilities:

  • Comply with all safety, food safety, GMP and SQF Requirements.
  • Must check incoming loads and write a receiving slip on them.
  • Place all supplies in proper storage areas.
  • When needed, help unload new equipment and move equipment through plant.
  • Take supplies to production areas.
  • Print labels as needed.
  • Do general cleanup in warehouse areas.
  • Take and keep track of inventory.
  • Perform any other work as assigned by supervisor.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
  • Must perform all positions of rotation, if applicabl
