Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric ED

The Pediatric Emergency Department at Inova Loudoun Hospital is looking for an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse 

Schedule: Fulltime, Day shift (7am - 7pm)

As an Inova Nurse you will:

• Provide knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patient, family, nurse, and healthcare delivery team.
• Conduct all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
• Use an integrated approach toward patient outcomes
• Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.

Requirements: 

Requires a minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.

• Prefer 2 years plus of PEDS ED RN experience
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
• If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN. 
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required 
• Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others 
• Proficient computer skills required.
