- Understand and communicate quality concepts to development teams
- Participate in testing of software features
- Oversee quality review of various applications
- Participate in implementation and execution of functional, regression, and acceptance tests
- Assist in test environment setup/teardown, test automation, and exploratory testing
- Oversee the creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation
- Assist in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans
- Assist management in setting the direction for quality assurance within the organization
- Participate in post-mortem RCA reviews and implement changes as a result of findings.
- Deliver regular reports that provide qualitative and quantitative descriptions of platform performance including quality metrics and error rates.
- Contribute to the Manual test strategy, scripts, and framework focusing on test architecture, re-usability, stability, performance, scalability, and related Quality/team metrics
- Provide hands-on test support when necessary to verify front-end, back-end changes and user workflows
- Required 5+ years of experience within the Quality Assurance specialty
- Experience working on enterprise applications or web technologies for fast paced delivery of content
- Ability to prioritize and address multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment
- Strong Software Testing knowledge
- Experience in working in agile environments
- Experience devising test strategies, creating test plans and test cases
- Expertise in the usage of bug tracking and Test management tools (JIRA and Test rail are plus)
- API testing using postman or similar tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with testing distributed infrastructure tools/APIs
- Degree educated or equivalent in Computer Science or related field with Quality Assurance certifications
- Experience with Cloud services such as AWS, Azure, Google
