Job Summary:
Raytheon has an immediate opening for an Integrated Product Team Lead to support the Next Generation Jammer Midband product line. The selected candidate will provide technical leadership to multi-disciplinary program teams who are involved in the development of requirements, architecture, design, analysis, detailed trade studies, simulation and test of the Next Generation Jammer Midband system.
This position is an onsite role in El Segundo, CA.
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
You will coordinate with the Chief Engineer to prepare and develop staffing and loading across the period of performance.as well as collaborate with a multi-disciplinary program teams to develop and design prototype systems.
You will organize and lead team meetings, internal design reviews, gate reviews, as well as formal program and customer reviews.
You will report weekly Earned Value (EV) metrics along with variances.
You will prepare and present Program Performance Reviews (PPRs), Variance Analysis Reviews (VARs), Estimate At Completion (EACs), and other reports for periodic meetings.
You will evaluate performance of the program/project and take necessary actions to keep the program/project within cost & schedule while identifying and mitigating program risks as well as opportunities.
You will pursue IRAD projects, lead proposal activities, design performance and cost trade-offs, provide cost estimate and prepare Basis Of Estimates (BOEs) based on prior programs.
Selected candidate will be required to obtain and maintain special access program (SAP) clearance.
Basic Qualifications:
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and ten (10) years of related system engineering experience on RF, EW, or Radar programs including prior technical leadership experience.
Minimum of 8 years of system development for defense applications.
Experience with Earned Value Management.
Experience (preferably hands-on) in the design, development, analysis, simulation/modeling techniques, and/or testing of EW systems.
Experience in lab equipment including: Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and/or Power Meters.
Active and transferable Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with new business development for programs of record.
Experience with proposal execution from competitive analysis to capture strategy to proposal delivery.
Experience writing requirements for EW/Radar systems.
Multi-disciplined experience in technologies relevant to airborne electronic warfare (antenna design and development, RF performance analysis, digital signal processing, RF signal chain analysis and design).
Experience leading teams of multi-disciplined engineers including disciplines such as systems engineering, software/firmware, electrical, and mechanical.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
