Operations Business Analytics Intern

Job Summary

The Operations Business Analytics Intern will apply academic knowledge, gain practical experience and contribute innovative solutions to optimize work processes, improve efficiencies and drive continuous improvement within the respective area of focus. .  At the end of the internship, the Operations Business Analytics Intern will prepare and present a final presentation to the leadership team on work project(s) and learnings. 

Job Details/Responsibilities

Data Visualization: Configure Power BI Dashboards for visualizing transportation and trade compliance data. This involves creating interactive and informative dashboards that facilitate real-time monitoring and decision-making.
Compliance Monitoring: Contribute to the development of a Freight Forwarder Score Card by configuring metrics that track and measure compliance with transportation regulations. Identify areas for improvement and assist in implementing measures to enhance compliance.
Data Integration: Workon integrating data from various sources to provide a comprehensive view of transportation and trade compliance. This includes collaborating with different departments to gather relevant data and ensuring accurate representation in the dashboard.
Insights and Recommendations: Analyze data, to provide valuable insights and recommendations for improving transportation efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring adherence to trade compliance standards.

• Ability to manage multiple projects under time constraints.  
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with all internal and field associates.
• A sense of urgency, ability to meet deadlines and function independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office software especially Word, Excel and Outlook and ability to learn new software.
• Ability to deliver results accurately and with a high sense of urgency
   

Qualifications/ Background Experiences

Major in business administration, finance, information technology or related field
