About the Role:
The Vice President of Talent Management is a strategic HR role responsible for leading the bank’s end-to-end talent strategy. This role oversees talent acquisition, onboarding, development, learning, performance management, succession planning, and engagement, with a strong focus on meeting heightened standards for talent in a digitally evolving financial landscape. The VP will also drive enterprise-wide people change management initiatives and integrate AI-powered tools to enhance workforce agility, learning, and performance.
What You Will Do:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Lead the development of innovative, AI-enhanced recruitment strategies to attract and retain top-tier talent aligned with the bank’s elevated performance and compliance expectations.
- Oversee a seamless, tech-enabled onboarding experience that accelerates new hire integration and engagement.
Talent Development & Learning
- Oversee the design and implementation of scalable learning and development programs that build critical capabilities, leadership readiness, and digital fluency.
- Leverage AI tools to elevate required training programs, build mentoring/coaching capabilities, personalize learning pathways and measure impact.
- Partner with People Business Partners to identify future skill needs and close capability gaps.
Oversee Performance Management Cycle:
- Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the performance management cycle, starting with, and ensuring alignment with, organizational goals and objectives.
- Ensure the performance management process is fair, transparent, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and development.
Succession Planning
- Enhance existing succession planning framework for critical roles, using predictive analytics to assess readiness and risk.
- Facilitate talent reviews and leadership development programs that align with long-term strategic goals.
- Embed career development tools and planning into management development training.
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Drive a culture of high performance, inclusion, and innovation through targeted engagement strategies.
- Use AI-enabled platforms to analyze engagement and sentiment data and inform action planning.
Change Management & Organizational Agility
- Lead enterprise-wide people change management strategies to support business transformation, digital adoption, and cultural evolution.
- Partner with senior leaders to build change capability across the organization and ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Develop communication and training plans that support employee adoption and minimize disruption.
Strategic Leadership & Innovation
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on talent strategy, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Embed AI and advanced analytics into talent management processes to enable smarter, faster decision-making.
- Lead and develop a high-performing Talent Management team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
