Technical Program Manager, RL Cloud Technologies

Our team is expanding and we’re looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will play a key role in defining and driving highly complex, cross-functional feature sets. We are looking for a TPM with a proven track record of developing and shipping new technology, especially those focused around MR/VR and cloud computing. In this role you will partner with Engineering, Product and XFNs to execute on our strategy on Cloud technologies, enabling next generation capabilities for MR and AR.Technical Program Manager, RL Cloud Technologies Responsibilities

• Bootstrap programs in ambiguous areas, requires managing multiple cross team interdependencies.
• Understand technology requirements, roadmap, dependencies, evolution, and develop a plan for mitigating risks and delivering features that meet the requirements across multiple products.
• Demonstrate end-to-end ownership and thought leadership across multiple teams and influence program direction and plans.
• Work with engineering and product management leadership to define and revise the long-term strategy for the organization.
• Establish expertise in an area, becoming the go-to escalation point for execution, leader for driving visibility across the program, and orchestrator for managing the integration across your program area.
• Drive technical excellence within the team, coordinating and contributing to engineering deliverables including architectural diagrams, specifications, launch criteria, and test plans.
• Provide hands-on program management during analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post implementation phases.
• Become a trusted partner for leadership and cross functional teams do develope and execute high complex deliverables
• Work cross-functionally to develop best practices and development processes in a quickly-changing and dynamic environment, drive impact through deployment of key initiatives and garner adoption of those processes.

Minimum Qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years experience as a program manager, leading complex hardware and/or software development programs.
• Experience delivering technical programs or products from inception to delivery.
• Analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems.
• Proven communicator who can translate high-level goals into tangible action plans, and vice-versa and expertise in communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience operating autonomously across multi-disciplinary teams, demonstrating thought leadership.
• Demonstrated experience to lead execution across highly ambiguous, complex products and programs, with experience to make technical and product tradeoffs balancing business needs and technical constraints.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience delivering Cloud services particularly as they relate to consumer devices and experiences.
• Experience delivering software features and/or services related to Virtual Reality, Mixed Reality and/or Augmented Reality.
• Experience of developing and shipping AR/VR/MR software on AOSP or custom OS
