Job Description

Directs and manages diverse programs administered by an agency; reviews program objectives to determine compatibility with an agency's mission; recommends program changes; implements policy, procedure or rule changes. Interprets policies and rules of programs administered by an agency. Attends legislative, public and advocacy group hearings; meets with citizens to discuss their concerns; investigates complaints, takes appropriate action and notifies the appropriate people of the outcome of the investigations. Participates in the management decision-making process of an agency and is held accountable for end results.
