How you will contribute:

You will play a key role in estimating HVAC work for customers in the Milwaukee regional area. You will showcase your attention to detail by producing timely, accurate and concise estimates that meet the specifications and customer requirements of all projects.  As an Estimator, you will estimate design build and plan spec mechanical projects; identify needed labor, determine the material and schedule requirements; collect and analyze job bid information; compute cost; present finalized estimates; and utilize QuickPen software with On Screen takeoff for estimating the projects.  You will also work in Microsoft Excel and BlueBeam.  Strive to become an instrumental team member by identifying areas for improvement.  Work alongside customers and members at all levels of the organization by providing top-notch customer service.  You will be challenged to excel beyond your expectations in a team-oriented environment.

 

What you need to qualify:

Ahern will help make the most of your experience in a construction environment combined with post-secondary education from an applicable program.  Candidates with 5+ years of experience will be able to fully utilize their experience.  Experience working in QuickPen or other estimating software is preferred along with a solid background in Microsoft Excel being required.  You must have a comfort in reading blueprints.  A commitment to providing exceptional customer service, possessing strong written and verbal communication skills, and being able to execute tasks with a great amount of detail will be crucial.  If you are ready to demonstrate this expertise, Ahern wants you!
