Director of Finance

JOB SUMMARY:

The Director of Finance directs financial activities of organization by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors Performs all duties for the Las Vegas Market.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  

• Establishes economic strategies, objectives, and policies for company.             
• Maintains Internal Control System and Policies and Procedures for Company in accordance with requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley. 
• Timely and accurate completion of monthly financial statements and regulatory reporting.                                         
• Assisting with the creation of annual budget and monitoring of budget monthly with area Vice Presidents.  
• Manual dexterity to operate all office equipment.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance required (CPA preferred) with a minimum of five years accounting/finance experience.  
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to financial reporting.  
• Comprehensive knowledge of general ledger, account reconciliation and capital budgeting.  
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.  
• Strong leadership skills are required.  
• Must be customer service oriented with excellent communication skills. 
• Strong ability to handle multiple projects required.

• Must be able to lift to 10 pounds and carry up to 5 pounds.
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at assigned desk.
