Job Title: AEGIS ASEV Senior Technical Analyst

Location: Dahlgren, VA, United States (Hybrid)

Canvas is seeking a AEGIS ASEV Senior Technical Analyst in Dahlgren, VA. You will be part a Talented and mission oriented professional team of federal engineers, active-duty Naval Officers and Contract staff who are willing to roll up their sleeves and get missile defense capability out to the Fleet. You will also be part of a team of some of the best and brightest Engineers and scientists our country has to offer.

You'll be surrounded by teammates who are part of Dominating the All-Domain Battlespace. The Engineers on our team are not limited to the status quo. Our team is always looking for better ways to do things- BIG things, little things, anything, and everything. We always ask the question, "How can we improve this?"

Duties:

• Primary point of contact for configuration management/data management for ASEV
• Direct support MDA ASEV program office in the integration and tracking of engineering program documentation
• Program lead for the execution of the Liaison information Transferal Report (LITR) Program.
• Primary developer and advisor for all ASEV tracking and development tools.
• Participant in all IPT and OIPT meetings
• Responsible for the execution of IPT and OIPT activities in areas of responsibility
• Senior Advisor to ASEV Product Manager for execution of program Activities.

Requirements:

• Masters' Degree and 12+ years of experience or Bachelor's degree and 20+ years' experience
• Technical experience in one of the following areas: systems engineering, modeling and simulation, missile systems
• Familiarity with Navy Weapon Systems
• Desired Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI
  • Prior experience with Aegis Weapons Systems
  • Experience with Missile Systems Engineering
  • Technical experience in one of the following areas: Fleet operations, systems engineering, missile systems, Aegis Qualifications, etc.

Security Clearance:

• Active Secret Clearance

Other Essential Job Functions:

• Must be willing to travel
