We are searching for a Marketing Lead to join the Muon Space team. As Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a Marketing Strategy for Muon Space. Marketing activities include Social, Web, Product, Media and Events. This position will be responsible for creating an integrated marketing plan to achieve marketing company goals. This position will also be responsible for creating compelling marketing and promotional content for the company (including social posts, blogs, brochures, promotional material, and website). The Marketing Lead will oversee marketing contract support.  

About this Role

As Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for defining, and establishing and measuring impacts of all marketing activities. The Marketing Lead will work closely with the Sales organization ensuring that Marketing activities support Sales objectives.

Location - The position will be located on-site at our headquarters in Mountain View, CA, Northern Virginia, or Remote

Key Responsibilities:

• Define overall integrated marketing strategy and plan across all content disciplines. Set key objectives, measure and report on impacts.
• Manage marketing support consultants to include media, graphics and others as needed.
• Collaborate with other teams to include Sales, Engineering and legal to ensure brand consistency, tone, voice and terminology.
• Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences. 
• Create product line marketing materials 
• Plan for and execute event exhibits to include supporting material, booth design and overall event planning coordination. 
• Manage social media accounts’ design, and suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness
• Stay current on technologies and trends in marketing, design tools, and applications
• Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
• Edit and proofread copy as needed
• Build partnerships with customer and partner for supportive and joint marketing initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, or a relevant field
• 5+ years of experience working as a marketing manager, or other related position
• Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
• Excellent copywriting skills and hands-on experience in content management
• Strong computer skills using Google Workplace and Adobe
• Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
• Analytical and multitasking skills, familiarity with web design, and knowledge of online marketing channels
• Ability to self-govern with minimum supervision, establish workload priorities, and utilize efficient time management practices to achieve assigned task
• Experience with aerospace or space industry marketing.

 

Desired Qualifications

• Experience with aerospace or space industry marketing. 
• Experience working with a diverse set of Commercial, U.S. Government DoD, IC and Civil customers.

Salary

The salary range for this role is $107K - $179K  and will depend on a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience as defined during the interview process.
