BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION
Assist with budgeting processes and preparation of financial reporting, modeling and analytics while exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
This position will require an analytical mind, the ability to communicate ideas, and the personality to be able to work collaboratively with team members from multiple functions.
PRINCIPAL ACTIVITIES: This position does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local laws / regulations and the Company’s policies, procedures and guidelines:
• Assist with annual and mid-year budgeting processes, including consolidation, analysis, and preparation of reports and presentation materials.
• Work closely with departments to ensure the timely and accurate review of financial results as well as the identification of actionable improvement opportunities.
• Perform in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Create and maintain financial and analytical models.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment on financial objectives.
• Translate accounting terms and financial concepts to non-financial partners.
• Partner with Accounting to provide input to month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process. Propose and implement process changes to increase accuracy and efficiency.
• Evaluate and recommend opportunities for process improvement and standardization of FP&A tasks, reports, and outputs.
SPECIAL PROJECTS
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and support special projects as directed by leadership.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting required.
SKILLS AND BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:
• 5+ years related experience in finance or accounting required.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills including creation of models and analysis from scratch and the maintenance or interpretation of models and analysis from others.
• Understanding of financial statements, key financial metrics, and financial performance indicators.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail, strong time management skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting processes such as month/quarter/year-end close.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with a major ERP system (SAP strongly preferred).
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Typical office environment and will require walking, standing and sitting in front of a computer.
