Product Sustainability Business Architect
Alfa LavalAbout the role
Every day, we get opportunities to make a positive impact – on our colleagues, partners, customers and society. Together, we’re pioneering the solutions of the future and unlocking the full potential of precious resources. Trusted to act on initiative, we challenge conventional thinking to develop world-leading technologies that inspire progress in vital areas, including energy, food, water and shipping.
As we push forward, the innovative, open spirit that fuels our 140-year-old start-up culture and rapid growth also drives our personal growth. So, as we shape a more resourceful, less wasteful world, we build our careers too.
About the Job
As a Business Architect – Product Sustainability, you will be instrumental in aligning Alfa Laval’s product information to support Alfa Laval’s ambitious sustainability and circularity objectives, with a primary focus on the Digital Product Passport. This foundational work will not only ensure compliance but also unlock significant opportunities, particularly within our service and aftermarket business. Over the coming years, while your core focus will be on sustainability and service, you will also contribute to other vital areas within the product domain.
Your key stakeholders will include our Business Units, where you will interface with product development, sustainability, and service functions. You will also collaborate closely with our Enterprise Architects and Group Sustainability teams.
The job involves a dynamic combination of information modelling and process definition. From a product information perspective, you will be responsible for formulating, evaluating, and analyzing requirements, as well as support designing robust solutions based on these requirements. You will serve as a crucial link to our agile development teams, ensuring seamless communication and implementation.
You will be part of a team comprised of product managers and business architects, all within the Product Value Stream, which is part of Group Digital. This position is based in Lund or Soborg, with an expectation of 10-20 days of travel per year.
We are looking for someone with documented skills in project management. While deep expertise is not required, having some hands-on experience is important. If you’re eager to grow in this area and contribute to impactful projects, we’d love to hear from you.
