Salary Range:

$113,000.00 - $147,000.00

We are looking for an experienced Strategic Finance professional to join the Product & Engineering Strategic Finance team at Etsy.  As the Strategic Finance Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for developing robust modeling and improving tools and systems for financial planning processes. This role requires your presence in Etsy’s Brooklyn Office once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. What’s this team like at Etsy?

We develop financial analyses and forecasts across various product lines, analyzing Etsy’s P&L, and contributing to company-wide financial planning processes, including our Strategic Financial Planning and Monthly Forecast processes.

What does the day-to-day look like?

• Cultivate and build positive relationships across the Product & Engineering team including partnering closely with Etsy’s CPO, CTO and the Product & Engineering Leadership team

• Build scenario models with in-depth analyses and forecast Etsy’s growth in areas such as cloud (e.g. GCP, AWS, or Azure). 

• Collaborate with the Director of Strategic Finance to build company-wide Monthly Forecasts, Annual Operating Plan, and Long Range Plan

• Partner with finance colleagues and business partners to produce monthly and quarterly financial reviews for the Executive Team and Board of Directors

• Play a key role in supporting our financial and operational planning processes, and evolving the underlying integrated financial forecast models, systems, and tools.

• Work with leads across the Finance Organization to build budgets and forecasts

• Develop, optimize, and standardize Strategic Finance processes, including coordinating automation opportunities and sharing best practices.

• Coordinate and collaborate closely with the partner-team Strategic Finance leads, other finance functions (Accounting, Tax, Investor Relations, Corporate Development), and additional vital operational teams (HR and Strategy & Operations) to develop models and deliver insights.

Qualities that will help you thrive in this role are:

• 4+ years of finance experience, including experience in financial planning, business analysis, investment banking or related, with a firm understanding of financial modeling and analysis tools
