The Opportunity
Flock Safety is looking for an Associate Technician to support our asset redeployment process. As devices are returned from the field, this role ensures they’re evaluated, tested, and prepared for reuse. You'll be responsible for inspecting assets, verifying functionality, and maintaining product quality before they’re sent back out to customers. As our systems grow, your work will help keep operations smooth and reliable. This role is key to making sure every redeployed asset meets our high standards and supports our mission to deliver dependable technology at scale.
The Skillset
1+ year of experience in warehouse or assembly environment
Advanced Knowledge of Google Sheets or Excel functionality
Physically capable of performing receiving and material handling activities
Willing to complete Flock Safety forklift certification.
Ability to bend and lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to meet or exceed attendance requirements, providing reliable and predictable attendance
Ability to work safely, minding personal and team safety in daily operations
Basic math skills
Considers the ultimate impact of decisions and actions on internal and external customers
Works smart by setting effective work goals, establishing priorities, and producing quality work
Able to think on your feet and while using your hands.
Time-management and communication skills
Strong ability to pay attention to details

Develop a strong understanding of Flock’s hardware products and warehouse workflows
Establish working relationships with key team members involved in warehouse and product handling.
Identify initial opportunities for improving asset handling and warehouse efficiency.
Contribute to daily operations by assisting with asset handling and providing feedback on current processes.
The First 60 Days
Develop proficiency in asset tracking and management
Learn and execute the monthly asset audit process
Improve collaboration with technical and engineering teams to support asset workflows
Contribute to improving asset management documentation and workflows
