At AVL, you’ll leverage your expertise to advise senior leadership, drive the global standardization of software compliance, and shape secure development practices across a leading international organization.</p>  </p> <p> </p> <p><strong>YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><ul> <li>Advisory to management on software security policies and strategies</li> <li>Contribution to harmonization and standardization of software security strategies, principles, and practices across AVL globally</li> <li>Implementation, monitoring and improvement of global security processes, policies and guidelines in assigned areas of responsibility </li> <li>Coordinate, review and approve products, programs, and projects to ensure that they are compliant with AVL’s software security standards, policies and guidelines in alignment with the Software Compliance team</li> </ul></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>YOUR PROFILE:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><ul> <li>Completed education (University of Technology, University of Applied Sciences or comparable) with a focus on Secure Software Engineering, Cybersecurity Engineering, Information Security or a related field</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of relevant security regulations and standards (e.g. Cyber Resilience Act, ISO/IEC 27001, IEC 62443, ISO/SAE 21434, OWASP)</li> <li>At least 5 years of experience in secure software development and stakeholder communication </li> <li>Proven track record in agile software development and DevSecOps environments</li> <li>Hands-on experience as a Security Engineer, Security Architect, or Software Security Officer</li> <li>Experience across at least two industries (e.g. manufacturing, public, retail)</li> <li>Strategic thinking, high sense of responsibility, and excellent communication skills</li> <li>Willingness to travel (maximum) 10% per year (worldwide)</li> <li>Business fluent knowledge in English, Basic knowledge in German as an advantage</li> </ul></p> <p> </p> <p><strong>WE OFFER:</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><ul> <li>A long-term and future-oriented workplace</li> <li>Food trucks, snack bar and canteen with freshly cooked daily menus</li> <li>Events, e.g. summer festival, Oktoberfest, AVL Christmas parties or after-work events</li> <li>Varying cultural offerings and semi-annual subsidies for events</li> <li>Employee discounts for various offers and services</li> </ul></p> <p> </p> <p><b>Annual Remuneration: </b>Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €62,000.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry).
