Who you are:

As a Summer Intern - Legal/ Trust & Estate at Frost, you will gain experience with a corporation that provides a full range of commercial and consumer banking products, investment and brokerage services, insurance products and investment banking services. Frost operates more than 100 financial centers across Texas in Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston, the Rio Grande Valley, the Permian Basin and San Antonio regions. Frost is the largest Texas-based banking organization that operates only in Texas, with a legacy of helping clients with their financial needs during three centuries. The Frost Summer Internship will include a weekly Frost Lecture Series that will allow our statewide interns to have exposure to a number aspects of our financial institution and to network with experts in various lines of business.

What you’ll do:

As a Legal Intern in our Trust and Estate Department, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience with corporate fiduciary obligations and complex asset management. Interns will assist in various legal tasks related to trust and estate administration, including but not limited to research, document preparation, and client communication. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the legal aspects involved in managing trusts and estates, as well as touching upon a wide breadth of other legal concerns involving traditional banking and investments, tax, and compliance, as well as managing oil and gas and real estate assets.
