About the role
HilltopSecurities is seeking a Senior Advisory Services Associate to join our Advisory Services Group. This team provides operational and service support to registered advisors across multiple channels, including HilltopSecurities Private Client Group, Momentum Independent Network, and affiliated correspondent firms. These advisors manage portfolios for both high-net-worth and institutional clients.
- Act as the primary owner for designated operational procedures (e.g., billing, trading), serving as the main point of contact and subject matter expert for those processes
- Serve as subject matter expert for HilltopSecurities’ Envestnet platform
- Provide support to advisors, money managers, product owners, and internal business partners via phone, email, and Salesforce cases
- Serve as a liaison between advisors and various departments to address requests and resolve issues
- Resolve inquiries related to billing and new account setups
- Mentor and train junior associates, providing guidance on processes, systems, and best practices
- Participate in product development initiatives and vendor management
- Support Growth Consultants by providing product and service expertise
- Assist with daily trade requests and reconciliation of trade errors as needed
- Contribute to the development of procedures for current and prospective programs
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably business-related, or equivalent work experience
- Series 7 and 63/65 or 66 license required (or willingness to obtain within a designated timeframe)
- At least 3 years of experience with a dually registered broker/dealer firm with practical experience in trading/billing/new accounts with Investment Advisory Services
- Currently pursuing or actively working toward professional designations such as CFP® or CFA® (preferred but not required)
- Possess a well-rounded knowledge of the securities industry
- Must be detail-orientated, analytical, and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accurate, complete, and high-quality work in a timely manner
- Self-motivated team player and individual contributor
- Excellent relationship building and communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Experience with Envestnet and Salesforce (preferred, not required)
