 Assistant Retail Manager

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking an Assistant Retail Manager. In this position, you will help the Director manage all aspects of the retail departments within the resort.  The Assistant Manager will be fluid with all store layouts and help maintain the visual presence for all locations, including resort window displays.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent guest service and resolve issues efficiently.
• Support daily store operations and assist in opening/closing procedures.
• Supervise, train, and schedule staff members.
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with merchandising.
• Handle transactions and ensure point-of-sale accuracy
• Track sales performance and report to the store manager
• Maintain store cleanliness and visual standards
• Enforce company policies and safety procedures
• Assist with planning and executing promotional activities

 

What We’re Looking For

• A minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in a hotel or related field; or a 4-year college degree and at least 1 year of related experience; or a 2-year college degree and 2 or more years of related experience.
• Accounting and purchasing experience preferred.
• 5+ years of management experience in a hotel, resort, or retail environment.
