Maintenance Coordinator ($27.50)

Position Summary:
Responsible for the daily coordination of maintenance service work and ensuring resident satisfaction. This role will manage the maintenance process, coordinate follow ups with residents, and respond to requests in a timely manner. Collaborates with various roles within the company as well as vendors to ensure work is completed effectively and efficiently with the customer experience in mind.
Skills required for Maintenance Coordinators include but are not limited to: time-management, effective verbal and written communication, and organization.
Job Duties:
- Promotes positive, proactive customer interactions to make their Irvine Company experience of the highest quality.
- Manages work-order dispatch board effectively, ensuring timely completion of all work. Communicates and coordinates work orders with vendors and distributes duties amongst Service Technicians.
- Follows up on all MSR appointments and proactively communicates with residents regarding on-hold MSRs.
- Follow up with residents on MSRs to ensure quality service.
- Ensures all turn-over services are conducted timely.
- Manages key logging system.
- Manages the mold remediation process including coordination and communication with vendors, corporate support departments, and residents. Completes all related documentation including incident reports, and follows up effectively with all parties.
- Coordinates, schedules and communicates with residents with regard to preventative maintenance projects.
- Schedules pre-move-in and move-out inspection appointments as needed.
- Assists with maintenance- related resident escalations.
- Responsible for PO and invoice management according to policy and procedure.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Two years customer service experience
Other:
- Daily job functions will vary by community
- Schedule may require work on weekends, holidays and evenings.
- Regular, consistent and timely attendance required
- Valid driver’s license; valid vehicle insurance
- This role requires the regular and frequent operation of a vehicle, as defined in the Company's MVR policy, and is part of the essential duties of this position.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Multilingual ability is a plus.
- Travel between communities may be required daily.
- Ability to perform these functions at multiple different sites may be required.
- Proficient computer skills and with software such as Google Calendar, Sheets, and Docs.
Compensation:
Base Pay Start Rate: $27.50
