Senior Frontend Engineer - Angular

As Front-end is very important within the development lifecycle, you will take an active part in the delivery of transformative products for our clients. You will report to a Tech Manager.</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>As a Frontend Engineer at Beyond, you’ll:</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>Build your soft skills in collaboration, communication, and client relationship management</li> <li>Have the opportunity to work with industry-leading companies.</li> <li>Gain knowledge in new business domains by helping develop impactful solutions.</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>Things that will make you stand out:</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>At least <strong>5 years experience as a front-end engineer</strong> or web technologist</li> <li>An understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, mobile-first design and standards</li> <li>HTML5, CSS3, CSS pre, and post-processors</li> <li>JavaScript, ES6+</li> <li>Angular experience</li> <ul> <li>Understanding of Angular's ecosystem and Angular CLI</li> <li>Familiarity with design patterns such as components, services, directives, and pipes</li> <li>Knowledge of RxJS (including observables, BehaviorSubjects)</li> <li>Experience working with state management in large-scale data-driven front-end applications</li> <li>Experience working with Angular Material</li> </ul> <li>Passion for developing intuitive user interfaces and implementing pixel-perfect layouts</li> <li>Experience with building tools such as Webpack</li> <li>Experience with responsive web design</li> <li>Object-Oriented Development</li> <li>API integration</li> </ul><p></p><p><strong>And in return, Beyond offers:</strong></p><p></p><ul> <li>A team of passionate people who genuinely care about what they do and the standard of work they produce</li> <li>Whilst we’re remote first we have two hubs in Portugal: Lisbon and Porto</li> <li>25 days’ annual leave, Juneteenth, your birthday off, and a paid office closure between Christmas and New Year's.</li> <li>Health insurance</li> <li>15 days paid sickness and wellness days</li> <li>A generous learning and development budget and an annual leadership development programme</li> <li>A strong company culture that includes weekly meetings, company updates, team socials, and celebrations</li> <li>In-house DE&amp;I council and mental health first-aiders</li> </ul><p></p><p>Having been named among Sunday Times Best 100 Companies, we believe culture plays a large role in what we offer as an organization.
