Job Summary:
This role is responsible for supporting the Acquisitions & Integrations teams with financial operations related to agency earnouts and acquisition initiatives, with a primary focus on assisting in the calculation, analysis, and execution of earnout payments. The position plays a critical role in ensuring that financial inputs are accurate, payments are processed efficiently and on time, and documentation is thorough and audit-ready. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capabilities, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments including Accounting, M&A, Tax, Treasury, and Payroll. This role also contributes to performance tracking, process improvement, and financial reporting while maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and compliance.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of agency earnout templates, including forecasting and detailed calculations.
- Extract, validate, and interpret large datasets to support accurate and actionable reporting.
- Prepare and submit funding requests to Treasury and Payroll teams in alignment with financial requirements.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication among Accounting, M&A, and Tax departments.
- Develop, track, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive operational efficiency and assess performance.
- Proactively identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to the design and implementation of solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain a comprehensive audit trail with appropriate documentation to ensure transparency and compliance.
- Uphold confidentiality and safeguard sensitive financial information in all operational activities.
- Provide support for special projects, strategic initiatives, and ad-hoc analysis as needed
- Provide prompt, accurate, courteous, “best in class” service to partners, insurance companies, leadership team and all staff.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree or the recognized equivalent in education and experience, required.
- Minimum (3) three years of experience in an accounting, auditing and/or financials analysis required.
- Insurance brokerage/related industry accounting background, preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and working with large datasets; experience with financial modeling and data validation required.
- Familiarity with financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Workday, SAP) and insurance GL systems (e.g., Applied, Vertafore, etc) is a plus.
