What you’ll do:

 

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - AI Development and Implementation

 

Location: Hybrid - Chicago or Newtown Square location

 

Expected start date: August / September 2024

 

Duration: 12 months

 

Working hours: Full-time 40 hrs./week

 

 

A Technical Intern will support the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions, focusing on practical and innovative use cases within the software industry. The intern will work within the Customer Success team to explore and prototype new AI applications, contributing to the company’s strategic goals and technical advancements.

As AI is a steadily changing field, the ability to deal with change, complexity, resilience, and resourcefulness are key for this position.

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Assist in the development and deployment of AI use cases, applying novel approaches to improve operational effectiveness.
• Participate in the full lifecycle of AI projects from ideation to deployment.
• Support the integration of AI solutions into existing software products.
• Research the ever-changing and emerging AI trends and assess their applicability.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and reports.

Ideal Qualifications:

 

Education:

 

Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related fields. Exceptions are possible when demonstrating strong resourcefulness in applying technology or developing solutions in creative ways.

 

Technical Skills:

 

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Python is helpful; familiarity with JavaScript and front-end development is a plus. Any high-level programming language counts.
• AI & Machine Learning: Experience with open source machine learning frameworks (e.g.  PyTorch, Llamaindex) or extensive use of frontier language model use.
