We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army’s Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.

This position is located onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.

Manufacturing Engineer – H-1 Projects 

Bring your experience and ideas to lead the completion of complex projects that support tactical goals and defined technical objectives aimed at improving manufacturing technology for existing or new designs, concepts, processes, systems, and tools.

You will represent Production Engineering as a key manufacturing technical contact on projects and programs, coordinating manufacturing technology deliverables across functional organizations.

This position is located onsite in Fort Worth, Texas.

What you’ll be doing as a Manufacturing Engineer – H-1 Projects: 

·         Coordinate all tooling needs and movements in support of H-1 Program initiatives to include: Nigeria, SPINE, Lead Technology Integrator (LTI) and Non-Recurring Engineering (NRE) efforts, or any future FMS needs.

·         Lead the completion of complex engineering projects that support tactical milestones and technical objectives.

·         Apply experienced manufacturing engineering principles, theories, and concepts to improve manufacturing technologies for existing or new designs, processes, systems, and tools.

·         Serve as a key manufacturing technical contact on programs, coordinating manufacturing technology deliverables across functional organizations.

·         Execute defined tasks, develop resource estimates, track progress metrics, and follow communication plans to meet project objectives.

·         Coordinate with design engineering and operations to conduct producibility analyses and manufacturing trade studies for cost-effective solutions.

·         Manage mid-sized projects using disciplined project management methodologies from initiation through closure.

·         Collaborate with H-1 program management, operations, and functional leaders for review and verification of engineering work.

·         Indirectly oversee and mentor a small team of 3 in support of H-1 Production Line Transition (PLT).
