Your Responsibilities
As a Electrical Manufacturing Engineer for JD Des Moines Works located in Ankeny, IA, you will:
• Provide advanced troubleshooting of manufacturing system communications and on-board vehicle electronics including hydraulic and mechanical systems that contain electrical components.
• Communicate with software and electrical design teams to address issues that arise during production
• Provide troubleshooting training and documentation to repair staff
• Address Continuous Improvement requests related to programming and testing
• Develop process improvements to address build issues identified through program failures, audits, and warranty claims

What Skills You Need
• Experience analyzing schematics and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Knowledge of electrical components and basic electrical principles
• Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases. (Example: JDAAT, SAP, SQL)
What Makes You Standout
• Experience with GFPT, DGT, and/or SmartTest
• Knowledge of CAN bus architecture
Education
Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
