LOCATION:  Burnsville Elementary
 
LENGTH OF EMPLOYMENT:  210 Day contract

Reports to:      Building Administrator
 
Evaluation:    Evaluated annually by the building principal/immediate supervisor in accordance with WV State Code §18A-2-12, WV State Board Policy 5314.

CERTIFICATION/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High School Diploma, General Equivalent Development Certificate (GED) per West Virginia Code §18A-2-5  
  • Personnel must be or have been classified in this category or must pass the state prescribed exam for this position per West Virginia Code §18A-4-8e. NOTE: Only Applicants who take and pass the state perscribed tests can have their applications considered for hire by BSC. If NO BCS employees who hold this classification apply for this job, you will receive email notification when tests are scheduled. Applicants will NOT be called and/or interviewed until they have passed the test. Please check your email regularly for testing notifications.   • Eight years of experience in bookkeeping and accounting assignments preforming progressively difficult accounting tasks or twelve hours college credit in accounting courses from an accredited institution of higher education.  
  • The ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities of the position as contained in the Job Description  
  • Criminal background check conducted pursuant to WV Code §18-5-15c and/or §18A-3-10, as appropriate. Please contact BCS before scheduling a background check to ensure that you have the correct codes to ensure that your background check is processed properly.
