Position Summary:

This position is responsible for all accounting activities related to Intercompany (domestic and international), as well as supporting month-end journals, account reconciliations, and accruals. This includes ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of information in the general ledger and financial reporting according to established timelines.

General Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, ensuring sub-ledger invoices and payments are posted promptly.
  • Coordinate with other LivaNova entities to align intercompany balances at month-end.
  • Analyze intercompany activity in specified general ledger accounts and initiate invoicing and payment requests.
  • Post intercompany cash transactions and clear cash GL accounts.
  • Prepare and post journal entries to correctly record financial information and ensure adequate support is provided.
  • Ensure the monthly closing schedule is accomplished on time to meet filing deadlines.
  • Ensure timely expense recognition (on both sides) for year-end Intercompany related accruals.
  • Maintain intercompany loan and interest schedules.
  • Review and reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.
  • Monitor pending Intercompany requests (either Sending or Receiving) and provide status updates to parties who will need to action such requests.
  • Serve as Corporate hub for North American intercompany accounting, managing intercompany transactions, policies and communication, and company-wide reconciliation of intercompany account activity.
  • Continuous process improvement within Intercompany issues (root cause analysis and action plan.
  • Develop, document, implement, and manage accounting processes, controls, and systems to ensure an appropriate level of internal control.
  • Assist in providing required documentation for internal and external auditors.
  • Perform other duties as may be required by management.

Required Qualifications:

  • Intercompany Accounts Receivables and Intercompany Accounts Payables.
  • Experience working with different legal entities and subsidiaries of a parent company with multiple currencies.
  • Works independently on complex technical issues.
  • Ability to independently research, investigate, analyze, reconcile, and evaluate all financial data and make sound decisions.
  • Demonstrates broad business and technical knowledge in resolving problems.
  • Takes lead role on ad-hoc projects, as needed.
  • SAP AR/AP/FI Subledger Experience.
  • Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.) and Word.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and more than 5 years of corporate financial accounting experience
  • Familiarity with OneStream software

Travel Requirements:

  • This is a hybrid position that will require attendance at group events and workshops in the office and may require business travel of less than 10%.


Pay Transparency & Benefit info:

  • A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $90,000 - $100,000yr. DOE + discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location.
