PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

This energetic, innovative individual supports our leaders at the Bothell Cell Therapy Manufacturing plant by leading a program on Leadership Development. This includes the design of learning, leadership, performance, and career development initiatives that increase manager effectiveness, workforce capability, and employee engagement. The Leadership Development Manager will be responsible for managing the delivery of integral leadership development programs, supporting people management growth, and overall development of leaders at Bothell.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES: Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a human resource, engineering, scientific discipline, and/or psychology required
  • MS or MBA is preferable

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading cross functional teams and/or leaders in Training/HR position
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in preparing and reporting to senior management stakeholders
  • Expert Facilitation Skills
  • Experience in managing learning and leadership programs
  • Proven track record of creating operational efficiency while maintain high customer satisfaction.
  • Skilled in Project Management
  • Ability to influence stakeholders (internal and external) and ensure they understand the vision, mission and execution to support this leadership program.
  • Strong communication skills, stakeholder influencing abilities, strategic thinking, business acumen is key.
  • High degree of customer focus and collaboration in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated planning and organizational skills and ability to manage various priorities and timelines.
  • Demonstrated leadership in managing matrix team
  • Influence – the ability to collaborate with Site Leaders, Senior Leaders in CTDO, and HR.
  • Strong teamwork and facilitation – effective at being a member of teams. Listens actively and responds constructively to needs and views of others.
  • Delivery – gets the job done. Exhibits a sense of urgency on critical time-dependent issues.
  • Demonstrates the ability to prioritize and is persistent to achieve the business objective.
  • Ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders at all levels effectively, including executives with differing priorities.
  • Demonstrated experience leading change initiatives
  • Critical thinking with strong curiosity and the capacity to learn quickly
  • Ability to build strong relationships across the business to enable
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industry and environment, comfortable dealing with ambiguity while driving to make decisions quickly.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Bothell site leaders, training team, and People Team to organize, manage, and deliver immersive leadership development programs
  • Facilitate leadership development workshops and train-the-trainer learning sessions
  • Educate leaders on their role in developing people as an essential part of their jobs
  • Conduct post-learning evaluations to understand successes and improvement opportunities
  • Continually evaluate programs for quality, business impact, scalability and sustainability
  • Interact with leaders across site to give and request feedback

he starting compensation for this job is a range from $102,000 - $129,000, plus incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility).

The starting pay takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and where the job is performed. Final, individual compensation is decided based on demonstrated experience.
