Job Overview

Under general medical supervision, and within regulatory scope of practice, assists in the provision of direct patient care by arranging patients for radiological examinations. Produces radiographs (x-rays) to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. Prevents patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation. As a level II position also provides x-ray-related technical support and professional expertise to the units of purchasing and clinical operations.

Minimum Requirements

1. Graduation from an accredited radiology program required.

2. Limited Permit in X-ray Technology required.

3. BLS certificate required.

4. A minimum of two years experience required. Three years experience preferred.

5. Bilingual: English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese depending on location preferred.

Salary Range

$28.46 - $35.58 hourly
