Your responsibilities

 

• Your primary responsibility will be to design utility scale ground mounted solar PV projects with an initial focus on project development support
• Using industry standard software, technical design work will progress from preliminary to detail level in line with the projects development maturity
• Optimizing layouts and yields based on constraint analysis
• Design in compliance with industry codes and standards and incorporating feedback from Construction, Operations and Development
• Support the preparation of post-construction documentation
• Provide expertise during project development and implementation, remotely and on site
• Support and lead technical due diligences
• Optimal cooperation within Renewables, consisting of developers, engineers, project-, contract- and offtake-managers, market and strategy analysts as well as a network of external partners
• Strong stakeholder management activities internally and externally

 

  

Your profile

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Renewable Energy, or related field)
• Extensive experience in utility-scale solar design and project delivery
• Proficiency in solar PV design software (e.g., PVsyst, AutoCAD) and understanding of renewable energy systems
• Strong analytical, creative problem-solving, and system optimization capabilities
• Proven track record of international work experience and cultural adaptability
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Business fluency in English (other languages are an advantage)
• Open to working in Düsseldorf or Berlin
• Open-minded, proactive, and detail-oriented
