What you'll do: 

 

As developer you will be part of an agile scrum team that is responsible for implementing features and functions according to the defined backlog.

You will be working in an ABAP based environment. The frontend is typically developed using FIORI elements and based on JavaScript. 

In this context, you will support us ensuring consistently high quality with a high degree of test automation – after all we, as a DevOps team, are responsible for issues that come up in our customer systems.

Required skills

 

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (ideally ABAP)
• Can-do attitude and high teamwork skills
• Good analytical skills to understand complex coding dependencies
• Agile Development Practice
• University degree in Computer Sciences, Business Informatics or a related subject
• Fluent in English

 

Preferred skills

 

• Keen to learn new skills and techniques around cloud software development and deployment, and apply these learned assets in our project
• Hands-on experience in developing business software in a cloud native context
• Strong interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills

 

Meet your team: 

 

You will contribute to the development and operations of an ABAP based application that is part of the S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition in the functional area of sales and solution billing.

You will work closely together within the teams and across teams to improve and enhance the features and SaaS capabilities of our solution. A specific focus will be on including GenAI and machine learning capabilities into our business process development.

In your role you will track and solve issues that come up in customer cloud systems and actively engage in the continuous improvement of cloud qualities in the development projects.

 

Being part of the S/4 Hana Cloud Public Edition - Sales Billing team positions you in the core of the S/4HANA cloud development. Our team owns the S/4HANA customer invoice, a central object combining the requirements and processes of sales, services and financials and reflecting legal requirements. For us developing software is an end-to-end responsibility from design to support. We are working in close cooperation with our customers. Our daily challenge is to ensure high volume invoicing runs smoothly, in time and highly automated.
