The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
 

As a Human Resource Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. You will advise and instruction regarding non-routine or difficult human resources policies and procedures, develop and administer human resources programs such as training, development, salary administration, etc, and work under minimal supervision.

 Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Leading or coaching employees during projects, training/mentoring new employees within functional disciplines such as benefits, compensation, staffing, organizational development, employee relations, operations, etc., and determining priorities and responsibilities to ensure success.

  • Initiating and leading projects, linking steps to business strategies, and ensuring objectives and deadlines are met.

  • Applying analytical skills for interpreting trends or data from company reporting systems and other information collection systems.

  • Recruiting, screening, and recommending candidates for hourly and salaried positions, and conducting employee orientation programs.

  • Developing and administering training and development programs, maintaining and adjusting existing programs as needed.

  • Providing advice and instruction regarding policy and procedural inquiries and conducting salary reviews with appropriate recommendations.

  • Managing salary administration programs and writing/updating employee handbooks.

Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) AND four (4) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Or

  • High School Diploma/GED AND eight (8) years of Human Resources experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing or operations environment

  • Problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills; ability to root-cause problems and quickly articulate creative, practical solutions

  • Proven track record as a self-starter, collaborative, and team player

  • Collaborator with excellent oral and written communication skill

Work location:  Onsite - Forest City, Iowa

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
