THE ROLE: Senior Business Analyst, Business Operations

Job Summary:

The Senior Business Analyst will work directly with the operations leadership and sales leadership on data analytics surrounding sales initiatives and strategy. This person will be a detailed oriented person who is a self-starter with advanced analytical skillset. The Senior Business Analysts will be a key player in plan and implement projects to assist in account and territory selection in order to optimize the sales team for future planning.

Travel Requirements:

This position does not require any travel.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participates in requirements gathering, design workshops to understand applications’ functionality and support requirements of the sales organization.
• Work with the focus Sr Ops and Sales leaders to provide data to help drive sales.
• Utilize data analytics to provide meaningful insights and recommendations to sales leadership.
• Works with Sr Operations leadership on maintenance and compliance of territory tools
• Ensure proper alignment of accounts and prospects to sales representatives, taking into consideration industry trends and customer preferences.
• Manage operational requests and reporting including analysis, issue troubleshooting, prioritization and resolution. Build custom reports, dashboards, and workflows.
• Create/update data dictionary, data modeling and flow diagrams as needed. Document business process/data flows.
• Participate in solution design and testing activities as needed.
• Assist with peel & grow customer strategy across sales organization.
• Sales Productivity Analysis
• Other projects or duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Experience reporting within Salesforce is highly preferred
• Must have experience with at least 1 of the following BI Tools;  SQL, Tableau Power Query, Business Objects and/or Microsoft Power BI

Education and Experience:

• • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and/or military experience
  • 7+ years of business analytics experience
  • 3+ years working within a reseller, technical sales environment
