The Global Event Operations team supports the Marketing Team as they strive to positively influence pipeline, drive client engagement and build brand through creative marketing programs, differentiated channel management and operational excellence on achieving their sales, renewal and retention goals. We are a highly-collaborative, creative, dynamic, groundbreaking global team who work together on key initiatives to drive program content.
Responsibilities and Impact:
As a member of the Marketing Department, you will provide event operational support for S&P Global virtual and live events to a worldwide audience of customers and prospects. You will highlight the breadth of our brand, executing events that feature our essential intelligence while providing the best-in-class attendee experience.
Responsibilities include:
Operational Excellence
Develop and execute webinars and virtual events: Includes event setup, platform support, and stakeholder reporting
Manage the event registration process by using the available systems to build registration websites and communicate with registrants
Support the marketing team in the creation of webinar promotions
Manage webinar metrics in events database and creation of reports
Manage logistics at third party events, or hosted events, ensuring our brand is represented and leads have been obtained. Responsibilities include budget management, venue sourcing, event registration and on-site support
Relationship Management
Partner with marketing leads, as well as commercial and product teams to ensure success based on KPIs for each event
Effectively communicate with speakers and key stakeholders for all events
Ensure customer expectations are at the center of the events we produce
Negotiate, vendor and venue agreements that advance our strategic priorities
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $53,084 to $85,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses, and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive bonus.

What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
3-5 years webinar and event planning experience required
Ability to travel
Working knowledge of event registration systems, namely ON24 and Cvent preferred
Knowledge of event apps
Excellent oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to manage multiple events in a fast-paced environment
Proven administrative, organizational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Right to Work Requirements:
This role is limited to persons with indefinite right to work in the United States.
We require all external candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview, which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
