Position Overview : Junior Accountant: Responsible for working on accounting, and financial planning and analysis function in support of the flagship plant, Allentown; key member of the Plant Accounting Team working in all areas of plant accounting as directed; interacts with plant and corporate personnel as required.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Daily, weekly and month-end activities as required to ensure a complete, accurate and timely close process

• Prepares manual journal entries for various accounting transactions

• Provides financial and operational month-end and adhoc analyses and reporting

• Assists in preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations

• Audit payroll processing for completion and accuracy

• Process plant, freight, debit/credit memo transactions (i.e. customer returns/claims, and
