Job Description

WHAT WE DO IN PRODUCT OPERATIONS

As a Product Operations Manager, your mission is to support the product teams (Product Managers, Designers…) in delivering the most valuable products by 

1. enabling product teams to maximise their impact and base their decisions on insights
2. driving operational excellence through best-in-class product development processes and tools 
3. organising product communications and rituals 
4. growing the teams' talent and engagement.

The product operation team is distributed in 3 different countries (Germany, France, Belgium) allowing us to keep the pulse from the team and understand where they need support.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN INDIVIDUAL WHO CAN:

• Foster alignment around the strategy across teams and drive change to enable them to maximise their impact 

• Collaborate closely with the product analytics, data operations and marketplace dynamics teams to define the best solutions ensuring access to data and insights to our teams
• Provide the right systems (People, Practices and Tools) and coaching to allow teams to base their decisions on insights and measure their impact
• Align teams, leadership, and the wider company around impact and insights to ensure that we are delivering our strategy.
• Continuously improve our Product Discovery & Delivery practices & tooling: 
• Define, improve and streamline efficient and scalable processes & tooling in support of Product Excellence. Promote best practices across the team ;
• Be aware and communicate market insights in terms of Product best practices and methodologies
• Monitor impact of practices and tools on teams’ velocity and product quality
• Support internal product communication and rituals:
  • Make sure that product knowledge is shared between our product teams ;
  • Improve presentation and discoverability of roadmap updates, release notes, product documentation, etc.
  • Guarantee strong and healthy collaboration among Product, Design and Tech teams and also with key stakeholders (business owners, security teams, legal team…) to drive efficiency and teams’ satisfaction
• Help grow the teams skills and engagement:
  • Gather input for Product Management Skill Building program (continuous product education program) from the teams.
  • Actively support product teams to implement new skills and product management best practices (framework and methodology application, continuous improvement).
  • Collaborate with product leadership to identify and address skill gaps and operational improvements.

Qualifications

You’re a self-starter who’s solution-oriented, strategic, proactive, passionate, positive, perseverant and thoughtful about their work, looking for challenges with a real innovative spirit with the following qualifications:

• Solid experience in product management, product operations or similar domains.
• Strong analytical experience 
• Curiosity and passion for problem solving, both conceptually and analytically, towards optimising strategy
• Excellent communication skills, fluency in English (German or French would be an advantage).
• Experience in coaching/mentoring/training, ideally product managers.
