3rd Shift Production Packer

Since 1976, TekniPlex Healthcare,  located in Clayton, NC, has been producing medical tubing for a wide range of medical device applications including IV therapy, respiratory, dialysis, anesthesia, diagnostic and surgical equipment.

3rd Shift Production Packer 

Note: This is not a Warehouse position.

Sunday – Thursday

11:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. plus overtime as needed

Primary Responsibilities and Expectations

• Responsible for packaging finished products manually in a fast paced environment.
• Perform basic quality checks including package counts, appearance, labeling, etc.
• Folds and tapes boxes, applies labels and stacks boxes on pallets according to customer specification.
• Enters data and prints computer generated labels.
• Transfers finished product to staging area via pallet jack, electric jack, and/or forklift.
• Prepares supplies for next order (boxes, pallets, labels, etc.).

Qualifications / Physical Demands

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years packaging experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Intermediate computer skills a must.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more.
