About the role:

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join our Technology and Innovation PMO organisation. You will lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers and specialists, applying your project management, people leadership, and technical skills to develop new products, variants or upgrades. Together with your team you will, throughout the development phases, create clear ambitious plans and ensure projects are delivered on time with agreed quality, scope and cost. 

You will be part of a dynamic and ambitious PMO organisation, where you will report to the Senior Manager, Head of PMO (Infusion Care) and be a part of an organisation of 9 highly dedicated and skilled Project Managers. 

We offer a central role in an exciting company in constant growth. You will be part of a dynamic team and have close collaboration with customers, top management and other stakeholders. And a hybrid office environment, with possibility to work from Søborg, Osted or from home, as it fits the projects you are a part of. Some travelling is to be expected: depending on the project, it can be between 10-20 days annually usually in the US, UK or Mexico. 

This position is based in Denmark. Primary location in Søborg. 

Your key responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate the project team towards project success.

  • Defining project requirements, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders while developing and maintain project plans, schedules, resource plans and budgets.

  • Managing project scope and change requests, and ensure project documentation is complete & accurate, while identifying and mitigating project risks and issues, as well as developing contingency plans. 

  • Dealing with uncertainty by leading teams through often dynamic and challenging situations. 

  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement, and identify opportunities to improve project management processes and methodologies.

  • Presenting to and influencing senior stakeholders and global portfolio reviews.

  • Managing expectations and stakeholders, communicating project status, progress, and challenges effectively.

About you:

As our new Project Manager, you take great pride in utilising your communication, leadership, and team management skills, to motivate and manage the project teams towards project success.

Your analytical approach and strong problem-solving skills, support you in making fast and well-founded decisions. You are a team player with a holistic mindset, operating with a high sense of urgency and you apply best project management practices, to manage the project safely through all project stages in accordance with our Quality Management System.  

Qualifications:

  • You have solid experience in project management, with a strong track record of successful project delivery.

  • A MSc or BSc in engineering, pharmacy, or similar relevant education. 

  • Excellent communication, English, leadership, and team management skills. 

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues. 

  • Preferably, a professional certification in project management. 

  • Experience in medical device product development (Class II) is an advantage.
