About the role

You may qualify at the MS-I level, if you fulfill the following qualification requirement: One year (52 Weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12/PT-2/PE-1/PA-1/CS-2 or equivalent in the Federal service or equivalent, (1) Direct experience processing a wide variety of personnel actions such as accessions and separations, reassignments, and position creation in an automated payroll/personnel system. (2) researching, interpreting and applying regulations associated with personnel processing. (3) developing, implementing and maintaining processing guidance and standard operating procedures. (4) articulating complex findings into layman's terms for a wide variety of employees. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
