ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Ensure that all assigned tasks and duties are performed in compliance with applicable Choctaw Gaming Commission and NIGA regulations and other applicable regulations, laws, statues and Silver Star Casino and Hotel internal controls.
- Follow and maintain all procedures and standards as trained and directed.
- Collect the financial data relating to all table games and other assigned games operated by the Table Games department on a daily basis.
- Assists in preparing reports, journal entries, tracks coupons used on property.
- Reconcile the Players Services’ reconciliation and ensure that all backup is included.
- Collect, verify and record the necessary journal entries to document the level or amount of play and the drop for each shift at each table at the resort.
- Ensure that all established rules, regulations and internal controls are followed while performing their assigned duties
- Organize, prepare and maintain applicable file systems and prepare information for storage.
- Ensures a maximum level of company-wide service and satisfaction, in the area of Hospitality Audit Division, is achieved and maintained.
- Comply with policies and procedures required by the department and the company.
- Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular attendance record

AGE and GAMING:
21 years of age or above
Gaming property – Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license issued by the Choctaw Gaming Commission.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED is required, Associate’s degree is preferred. Experience in the accounting/financial functions, including auditing and account reconciliation or other directly related job experience is preferred. Preference may be given to those applicants who have completed some post-secondary education but have not achieved a degree or have completed secondary education level classes with an emphasis in accounting or finance related fields.
TESTING:
Must score a minimum of 85% on the Basic Math test and 2000 KPH on the 10-Key test. Must take the required testing identified for this position.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills. knowledgeable in the appropriate software, to include Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out simple one or two step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
