Senior Manual Test Analyst

<p>Manual Tester needed to join our team at VML Enterprise Solutions. Candidate should possess strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills and have an eye for detail. </p><p><strong>Please note that this job is a full-time position located in Lisbon or Porto, but the selection process will be conducted in English. </strong> </p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><p>You will be a tester within an Agile team, primarily focusing on testing eCommerce solutions. You will be involved in the preparation of test cases and test plans, and will be required to execute tests manually. You will work closely with test automation and CI/CD processes and tooling.</p><p>The applicant will be system testing and integration testing on new projects and regression testing as part of on-going site support for several clients.  Experience of testing RESTful services, querying databases and reviewing log file output is expected.</p><p><strong>What we want from you:</strong></p><ul> <li>Extensive System Testing and System Integration Testing experience</li> <li>Experience testing transactional eCommerce websites, ideally retail based</li> <li>Be able to analyse requirements, identify testable conditions and write concise test scripts and Exploratory Test Charters</li> <li>Be able to provide appropriate test estimates</li> <li>High level of communication and interpersonal skills including experience of writing accurate and concise reports</li> <li>Experience of liaising with customer and external third parties</li> <li>Great backend testing skills</li> <li>Experience of querying databases using SQL</li> <li>Full knowledge of the project lifecycle and experience of various project development methodologies, particularly Agile approaches</li> <li>Able to review server log files and identify errors</li> <li>Experience of testing RESTful services either manually or using tools such as Postman</li> <li>Experience with compatibility testing and other non-functional testing areas – e.g. OWSAP vulnerabilities, accessibility</li> <li>Demonstrate ability to change direction and re-prioritise in a fast-paced team environment</li> <li>Attentive to detail and highly organized</li> <li>Mentors more junior members of the team on project knowledge and testing processes</li> <li>Driver for innovation, test process improvement and change</li> <li>Stands firm when needed and acts as a champion for quality</li> </ul><p><strong>If you know some of this, even better:</strong></p><ul> <li>Retail sector, warehouse, or fulfilment experience.</li> <li>Hands on usage of Selenium or other automation tools</li> <li>Knowledge of the following technologies: Java, J2EE, DB2, DB Visualizer, SQL, XML, UNIX and MQ Series </li> <li>Ecommerce platform experience – e.g. Salesforce Commerce Cloud, HCL Commerce, SAP Commerce, Adobe Commerce, Shopify</li> <li>Hands on experience of JIRA, Confluence or other Atlassian tools. </li> <li>Experience with Xray, Zephyr, or other Test Management tools</li> <li>Experience of HTML, CSS and JavaScript.</li> </ul><p><strong>What we can offer you:</strong></p><p>Alongside the opportunity to work with some of the most exciting brands around the world, we’ll also prioritise your career development and help you grow your skills.
