Position Title: Short Shift Caregiver
Company: Comforcare Home Care - Montgomery County Southeast
Location:  Conshohocken 19429 
Shift Details: This position offers flexible short shifts, typically lasting between 2 and 4 hours, with shifts available between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM based on client needs.
About the Role:
We are seeking compassionate and reliable caregivers to provide assistance to clients in Montgomery County Southeast. As a caregiver in this role, you will work regular short shifts and be available to step in as a backup caregiver for additional shifts when needed. Caregivers will travel between client homes within the same geographical area, so owning a personal vehicle is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Personal Care: Provide assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Medication Support: Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed and help with medication management.
• Mobility Assistance: Support clients with transferring, walking, and using mobility devices.
• Meal Preparation: Cook and serve meals based on client preferences and dietary requirements.
• Light Housekeeping: Help with cleaning tasks like laundry, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Companionship: Engage clients with friendly conversation and recreational activities.
• Health Monitoring: Keep track of any changes in health or well-being and notify the supervisor or family members when necessary.
• Documentation: Keep detailed records of services provided, including medication logs and health updates.

Qualifications:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years in caregiving, with proven experience in personal care.
• Transportation: Must own a reliable personal vehicle to travel between client locations. Public transportation is not acceptable for this position.
• Location Availability: Willingness to work in Montgomery County Southeast.
• Health Requirements: Must have a 2-step PPD test (within the last year), or provide documentation of a chest X-ray or QuantiFERON Gold Test within the last 2 years.

Compensación: $17.00 per hour
